Nick Kerry received his master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Manchester in 2026. His research in the Trowbridge Group focused on isolating the stable radical of a phosphorus-inserted porphyrin red-light photocatalyst for mechanistic studies and red-light-mediated transfers.
His doctoral research in the Lam Research Group develops electrochemical transmutations of acids and amines.
Outside the laboratory, Nick enjoys keeping active by playing badminton, cycling and, particularly, rock climbing. He also enjoys creative activities such as painting and origami.
