Hamid Salehzadeh received his BSc and PhD in Chemistry from Bu-Ali Sina University, Iran, specialising in electrosynthesis and molecular electrochemistry. He subsequently held an academic position at Kharazmi University in Tehran, where he developed electro-organic transformations.
In the Lam Group, Hamid develops electrochemical oxidation and carbonyl-forming methods. His contributions include an electrochemically assisted Friedländer synthesis of quinolines and the e-Carbonyl route to α-keto esters through α-carbonyl carbocations.
