Anthony has recently graduated from the Université de Rennes 1 in France with an MSc degree in Molecular Chemistry. His Master Degree's research focused on the synthesis and deconstruction of known small-molecule Keap1-Nrf2 protein-protein interaction inhibitor. He also holds a diploma from the French Leading Graduate School of Chemistry of Rennes (ENSCR). During his education there he has been working on the synthesis of deoxythymidine diphosphate-β-L-rhamnose involved in the Rhamnose biosynthesis as an alternative antibacterial target.
Anthony is now pursuing a PhD at the University of Greenwich, focusing on the development of novel drugs and Drug-Delivery strategies for the treatment of Mesothelioma under the supervision of Professor Adrian Dobbs.
Although not originally from our group, we have adopted Anthony and his amazing synthetic skills. He does enjoy preparing new precursors for our electrolysis.
A fun fact about Anthony? He is a double French champion of trampoline!
